Jeffrey Church is a political theorist and Chair of the Department of Political Science at the University of Houston. Church joins this episode of the Political Theory Review Podcast to discuss his new Oxford University Press book, Kant, Liberalism, and the Meaning of Life. The book is the “first extended treatment of Immanuel Kant’s understanding of the meaning of life.” Church applies Kant’s anthropology to his political theory and squares Kant’s views on life with the broader political sphere.
