Philosopher and Georgetown University Prof. Terry Pinkard joins the Political Theory Review Podcast to discuss Practice, Power, and Forms of Life, his new book from the University of Chicago Press. The book takes a closer look at Jean-Paul Sartre, and how his late work was “a fundamental reworking of his earlier ideas, especially in terms of his understanding of the possibility of communal action as genuinely free, which [Sartre] had previously argued was impossible.”
