The Political Theory Review

Michael Zuckert is the Nancy R. Dreux Professor of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. Zuckert joins the podcast to discuss his new book, A Nation So Conceived: Abraham Lincoln and the Paradox of Democratic Sovereignty, from the University Press of Kansas. The book considers a “coherent center to Lincoln’s political ideology” of democratic sovereignty that “unifies his thought and thus illuminates his deeds as a political actor.” Listen to the full conversation with Zuckert below.
